Mesothelioma is the one of the aggressive malignant type of cancer that affects the membrane lining the lungs and stomach. Mesothelioma is itself divided into several types:
- Pleural Malignant Mesothelioma.
Occur in the tissue lining around the lungs. This is the most common type. -
Peritoneal Mesothelioma.
Occurs in the tissue that lines the abdomen. -
Pericardial Mesothelioma.
Occur in the tissue lining around the heart. -
Mesothelioma Of The Tunica Vaginalis
Occurs in the lining around the testicles.
Symptoms of Mesothelioma.
Signs and symptoms of mesothelioma is not always the same and varied. Depending diaman the location where the cancer occurs.
- Pleural Mesothelioma signs and symptoms
- Shortness of breath
- Pain when breathing
- Pain when croughing
- Pain in the lower rib
- Unusual lumps in the chest under the skin layer
- Lost weight suddenly
- Dry cough
- Peritoneal mesothelioma signs and symtoms:
- Pain in the abdominal area
- Swelling in the abdominal area
- Changes in bowel movements, such as being more likely to experience diarrhea or constipation
- Bumps on the tissue in the abdominal area
- Lost weight suddenly
